Job Description:
As a Staff Nurse at KCIH, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and general pediatric medicine wards. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, collaborating with the medical team, and providing support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- – Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the NICU, PICU, and pediatric medicine wards.
- – Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs, and report any changes to the medical team.
- – Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- – Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- – Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- – Educate and support patients’ families, providing information and guidance on their child’s condition and care.
- – Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- – Adhere to hospital policies and protocols to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Qualifications:
- – Registered Nurse (RN) with the Pakistan Nursing Council.
- – Minimum of [X] years of experience in NICU, PICU, and pediatric medicine (specific number of years based on your requirement).
- – Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage critical care situations in a pediatric setting.
